These terms describe the SMS (text message) program operated by Macomb Powersports. By providing your mobile number through our website, in store, or by replying START to one of our messages, you agree to receive recurring text messages from us at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Types of messages

Sales follow-up, appointment confirmations and reminders, service updates, and replies to your inbound messages. We do not send purely promotional blasts.

Message frequency

Recurring; varies based on your conversation. Typical engaged customers receive 2–8 messages per week. You will not be messaged outside your local 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM window.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages themselves; standard rates from your carrier apply.

How you opt in

You opt in to Macomb Powersports's SMS program in one of three ways:

  1. Submitting a lead form on our website at https://www.macombpowersports.com/ with the “I consent to receive SMS” checkbox checked.
  2. Providing your number to a sales or service representative in person and explicitly authorizing follow-up by text.
  3. Texting START (or YES) to our number +13137892215.

Each opt-in is logged with timestamp, source, and the page or channel where consent was given. We retain proof of consent for the life of the messaging relationship plus four years.

How to opt out

You can stop receiving messages from Macomb Powersports at any time. Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, or END to any message we send. We will respond once to confirm your opt-out and you will not receive any further messages — even from a different campaign — unless you explicitly opt back in.

Privacy & data sharing

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service is available on most major US carriers. We support STOP/HELP keywords as required under CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook §5.1 and the carrier opt-in/opt-out standard.
